Experience a day of creating sacred space, deepening your understanding of ritual in your life and in our modern culture. Next you open and clear your energetic system with specific meditation practices, timeless wisdom, a practice for a lifetime. Feel the power of sound flow through your body as you raise your voice with others in sounding and song. Learn how sound is a full spectrum healing modality. Experience the power of music as it flows into and throughout the wholeness of your being, taking you into movement. Ritual, meditation, sounding, music and movement. These are the parts of a celebration found in tribal communities. From birth to death, life passages are marked in this manner. This is the intention of Sound, Heal and Move, to celebrate the spark of the Divine in us all, and that we are not isolated or alone in our experience on this Earth.

The Himalayan Yoga Tradition-Teacher Training Program (HYT-TTP) is for people who wish to connect to an authentic living lineage for ongoing study and spiritual guidance.  Working with all aspects of our lives, the aim of the program is self-transformation.  "We train people to be not merely teachers of classes, but guides of people."

This unique program of ongoing spiritual guidance has been designed by Swami Veda Bharati to deepen the students' personal experience of Yoga to such an extent that they can transmit authentic yoga teachings and experience.

The Himalayan Yoga Tradition-Teacher Training Program (HYT-TTP), under the tutelage of AHYMSIN (Association of Himalayan Yoga Meditation Societies International), is dedicated to making available and teaching the Himalayan Yoga Tradition as taught by Swami Rama of the Himalayas.  Puerta desert

Rancho La Puerta (www.rancholapuerta.com) lies in a valley at the foot of 3,885-feet Mount Kuchumaa.  Here, the meandering Kumeyaay Creek meets the Tecate River.  Kumeyaay tribe people knew Mount Kuchumaa as the "exalted high place."  For them, Kuchumaa was the womb of the world, the place from which creation sprang.  Only shamans were allowed on the summit.  It was a place of initiation for spiritual leaders.

Rancho la Puerta's 3,000-acre property offers world-class landscaped gardens, an organic farm, mountainsides and meadows for great hiking and walking experiences.  An amazing array of fitness activities, luxury spa amenities and superb spa cuisine await your discovery.
